Six Man Compound / Compound, Inc - Reminisce (Produced by DJ UnEq)
Here's an original joint that Six Man Compound wrote to a beat of mine - but when I heard it all together, I didn't think
the lyrics fit the beat. The
original beat (I thought) was a little on the dark side, and I was hoping to get some dark lyrics... LOL
So
I had another beat on hand - a really old school style beat which I originally made on an Ensoniq ASR 10,
and I thought it fit the lyrics much better. So I recreated the beat in Sony Vegas, and built it around their lyrics..
It's got a really old school type feel - which is nice considering the lyrics are talking about reminiscing hip hop's
golden years.
